Aluminium Zorba

ISRI Zorba. Shredded non-ferrous from auto-shredder

Zorba is the highest-volume, lowest-Al-content aluminium scrap on the market. Gross-weight hedging would over-hedge Al by ~120%. Massive basis risk. Metal-content hedging at 45% is the only defensible approach and unlocks profitable Zorba trading for recyclers and smelters.
