Problem We Lived
We traded base metals for years and hit the same wall: “live” prices scattered across LME, MCX, SHFE and FX, each on a different clock. Excel broke when APIs hiccuped. Supplier premiums told only half the story while real P&L came from picking the right contract and keeping the right hedge through uneven production and sales cycles.
